Micro Limit Poker

Whether you are a beginning player or one that just does not like to risk a lot of money, Full Tilt Poker has a lot of options available for players at the micro stakes level. Micro limit poker is the truest form of entry level poker. In cash games, micro stakes poker ranges from .01 – .02 NL Holdem to .10 – .20 Limit Holdem. Micro limit poker tournaments are those with buy-ins from .10 to $4.

The most popular form of micro stakes poker offered on Full Tilt in ring game format is .01-.02 PL and NL Holdem. It is not uncommon to see 50 or more tables running at these limits at any one time. In addition to .01-.02, there is also .02-.05 NL and PL Holdem offered. This is considered the first step up for those wanting to work their ways through micro stakes. Of course, some players start at these stakes as the pots usually offer more action and a bigger payout.

There are several variations of the game offered at this level. Those variations are 6 handed PL and NL, 6 handed capped PL and NL, and regular capped NL and PL. In a capped game, there is a maximum amount that can be bet by one player in a hand. At .01-.02, the most a player may bet up to in one hand is .60. At that point, a player is considered all in.

While not nearly as popular as its NL counterpart, Full Tilt offers two levels of micro limit limit holdem for those that take a more calculated approach to the game. Stakes available are .05 – .10 Limit and .10-.20 Limit Holdem. Six handed games are available for those wanting more action or a greater challenge.

Holdem is not the only area offering micro stakes action. Omaha players have options of .01-02 and .02 – .05 PL and NL Omaha 8 Hi-Lo or Omaha Hi. Stud players have the option of .05-.10 and .10-20 7 Card Stud, Stud 8 or Better, and even Razz. Mixed game players also have options on Full Tilt. There are .01-.02 and .02-.05 HA games, as well as .05 – .10 HO, HOE, HOE, OE, and HORSE.

Full Tilt has not forgotten about their tournament players. There are many tournaments that are run at buy-ins starting as cheap as .10. Among the most popular low buy-in tournaments are the Daily Dollar events. The Daily Dollar has a guaranteed prize pool of $10,000. Tournaments covering all the different poker variants are offered at low stakes. In addition, you can find rebuy events, 6 handed events, turbo events, and even deep stacked events on the site. The micro stake events are great ways to build your bankroll and to get valuable practice and experience.

So whether you are a low roller or a newbie to the game, there are a plethora of games available for you over at Full Tilt Poker.
